The House
This is a one bedroom traditional townhouse in the heart of the city of Faro, conveniently located in walking distance to: bus, train, ferry, small restaurants, shops and the marina.
It was fully renovated in July 2019. Inside, old restored furniture which belong to the house for many many years is mixed with new comfortable one, giving a special charm to the place.
The property is a ground floor, where you can find a cozy living-room with Netflix Smart TV, a dining space, nice fully equipped kitchen, one double bedroom with air-conditioned that provides both cool and heat, one full bathroom and a small backyard with an outdoor shower (amazing for the hot days and after beach time 🙂
It’s ideal for two persons, but accommodates up to four persons (there is a sofa-bed in the living-room).
Bedding, bath towels, sun umbrella, hairdryer, air-conditioning (in the bedroom), etc, are also available in the house.
The kitchen includes fridge/freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc.
In the inner patio you will also find a washing machine.
The house was restored trying to keep as many original features as possible so be prepared to have the experience of staying in a real traditional townhouse in the old town of Faro.
The Area
In this part of the town you will be walking distance from all the sightseeing spots but out of the most touristic area, where all the hostels and rentals are located. There is a local beat that we like a lot. You will find a very genuine cafe next door, where neighbors and friends gather, specially by late afternoon after another day of labor.
You will be 120 m from rua de Santo António, the main pedestrian street of Faro. 400 m from the marina, 650 m from the bus station, 500 m from the gate to the citadele.
Additionally, a couple of our favorite restaurants are nearby.
